Williams Direct Dryers: Leading the Way for Industry Safety Standards

Globally, Williams Direct Dryers (WDD) is the most recognized direct dryer manufacturer in its industry. WDD is approved by five regulating safety certification/compliance bodies; CE, CSA/UL, C-Tick certification, SAA Approved, and NFPA compliant. This is an outstanding accomplishment. ‘Safety first,’ is what the people at WDD adhere to. This includes in-house production, where the staff pride themselves in their attention to detail of electrically outfitting each dryer.  “We build each dryer by hand – no robotic assembly line here. Our dryers are of the highest quality grade, built for the toughest conditions, which we see as surpassing all others in the industry. We always make sure the robust ‘outside,’  represents the inside workings as well. In addition, we perform rigorous testing of all our dryers – ensuring they perform optimally. This distinctively sets us apart from other dryer manufacturers, which assures our customers of the quality and integrity of our dryers,” Des Mayne, Managing Director of WDD.

Williams Direct Dryers, are proud to design in accordance with the standards developed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  [1] As noted by the NFPA, they’re the authority on fire, electrical, and building safety. The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA, established in 1896, is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. The world’s leading advocate of fire prevention and an authoritative source on public safety, NFPA develops, publishes, and disseminates more than 300 consensus codes and standards intended to minimize the possibility and effects of fire and other risks. With chapters located internationally, they continue to promote the latest, fire, building, electrical, and life safety codes and standards. All Williams Direct Dryers comply with the NFPA approved model. Fire protection safety is the NFPA mandate and only certify companies who apply the same criterion .
With over 25 years of inventing and building dryers, WDD is a standout from the crowd. They build dryers which crosses multiple industries, including; military, mining, fire services, ski resorts, pro sports, residential and the list continues on. Anyone can agree with their motto, “We can dry just about anything!” They’re definitely a sure bet, as North America’s first choice dryer manufacturer of long-lasting specialty dryers with safety in mind.
